Irish Dance

While staying in Ireland during the summer of 2013, Long’s Dance Director, Lee Ann Long, continued her Master Instructor level training. Lee Ann studied with Master Instructors Mick O’Reilly and Mary Beth Taylor. Mick is the 10-time All-Ireland World Champ. Mary Beth Taylor has her own school in Dublin named Scoil Rince Taylor and is known for her classes and performances at the Cobblestone Pub.

Long’s will now offer Irish Dance Classes at its Main Location (826 Selinger Ave.). The first lesson held was on Saturday, October 5, 2013 to a completely full class. We are currently accepting enrollment for new classes at this time. Begin registration today!

Long’s is pleased to announce that Mick O’Reilly has joined our faculty and will be instructing periodic Master Classes at the school. The first workshops were held in November of 2013. Since, our school has been accepted for membership by the World Irish Dance Association (WIDA). In addition, Long’s students will be competing in future WIDA sanctioned competitions.
